Thanks for checking out the photographs from my recent winter trip to Pakistan. This trip is a customized version of the Karakoram Hindu Kush Jeep Tour. Since it was winter, we could not visit all the places in the regular trip, it is a nice overview of the jeep safari.

The photos are large, and the pages will load slowly, but I think it will be worth your time.

While in Pakistan, I visited with Masood Ahmad of Concordia Expeditions, and traveled extensively in the north with Fazal Karim, one of the guides for Concordia Expeditions. I also met several other Concordia Expeditions employees and was impressed with their knowledge of Pakistan, it's people and culture.

The photo above shows the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore. This huge mosque was completed in 1676 by Aurangzeb, one of the Mogul rulers. It is built with bright red sandstone, will hold 60,000 people at one time, and is one of the largest in the world. This photo was taken at dusk from the top of the Minaret of Pakistan. In the foreground is the Pakistan flag.
